Another nice Eickhorn piece here! The acid etched fouled anchor blade on this one looks excellent! The tip is perfect and the fit is nice and tight. The crisp etch remains nice and dark and "Original Carl Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates an easy Exc++/NM. The brown felt buffer pad remains intact. The brass based, gold gilded, lightning bolt scabbard looks great! The details and hand enhancing are beautifully displayed throughout. It has had some dents pushed out and I believe it's been cleaned. Both throat retaining screws remain intact and unturned. The brass based hilt and pommel are beautifully detailed with the crisp anchor and proud kreigsmarine eagle! The pommel is a bit loose, which is quite common on navy daggers from the wood shrinkage. The wood based, white celluloid grip looks excellent! No cracks or chips anywhere. The double twisted wire wrap remains intact! Nice upgraded blade!
