The H. & F. Lauterjung Stahlwarenfabrik company was founded in 1897 by the Hugo and Friedrich Lauterjung brothers. It registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce on April 26, 1910. The company was owned by the Lauterjung's until it passed to Martha and Walter Weck, Friedrich Lauterjung's daughter and son-in-law. Lauterjung manufactured: all types of knives, razor blades, scissors and tableware. During the Third Reich era, the company manufactured SA/NSKK daggers and HJ knives. In 1935, the company received their RZM M7/6 license, while located at Rölscheider Straße 60. Lauterjung appeared in the 1938 Die Klinge among the approved manufacturers of HJ knives. In 2001, control of the company passed from the Wecks to Inge and Martin Eller. Lauterjung remains in business to this day. It produces a vast array of kitchen and cooking ware.
