The Hermann Hahn Stahlwarenfabrik company began in 1820. It registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce on August 27, 1907. Early on Hahn manufactured: cutlery, knives and tableware. During the Third Reich era, Hahn produced a few SA daggers and HJ knives. On February 26, 1937, Hahn lost its RZM license. H. Hahn was listed as a manufacturer of HJ knives in 1938, yet no examples have been observed. Hahn was owned by Paul Voos in 1939, when it was located in Solingen on Karl Allmenröder-Straße 23. The company was located on Corinthstraße in 1961 and dissolved later that year on November 14.
