LEUCO, Bayern

The Leuco - Heinrich Leupold, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began sometime around 1918. It likely has strong relations to Johann Leupold (Johnniswerk) firm as both have a Leupold link and operated out of Gefrees in Bayern (some have suggested a father-son relation). The LEUCO trademark was likely registered by Heinrich Leupold in 1918. Come the Third Reich, early era SA daggers were made. Fisher estimated 5,000. There is LEUCO Stahlwarenfabrik company still operating to this day, though it claims to have started in 1954.
