Peter Lungstrass, Solingen-Ohligs | RZM M7/57

The Peter Lungstrass Fabrik feiner Stahlwaren company was founded in 1900. It registered in Solingen on April 13, 1907. The 1922 advertisement above shows Lungstrass offering: cutlery, knives and scissors. From 1925-39, the company was owned by: Peter, Richard and Paul Lungstrass. In 1935, the company was located on Benrather Straße 5. That same year it received its RZM number M7/57. During the Third Reich era, HJ knives along with a few SA/NSKK daggers were manufactured. An advertisement in Messer und Schere on March 1950 features Lungstrass promoting the sale of knives and scissors. In 1962, Lungstrass was making: cutlery, pocket knives, household knives and gift articles. The company was located in Solingen-Wald on Dürerstraße 37 in 1975 and 1986. The company no longer remains in business.
