Giersch trademark of: a hat-wearing schoolgirl (Studentin), holding a book, was registered in 1905. Heinrich, Otto, Ernst and Franz Carl Haring were all listed as the owners come 1914. From 1928 to 1939, the owners were listed as Otto and Ernst Haring. An order form from September 23, 1938, lists Giersch's specialty products as: table cutlery, pocket knives, scheres, bread, cow, fruit, cake and boar knives. During the Third Reich era, early SA/NSKK daggers were manufactured. The company's premises was at Felderstrasse 63, Solingen in 1939. A 1942 edition of DRAB, lists their products as: tableware, pocket knives and scissors. The Robert Giersch company likely ceased trading after the war.
