The Robert Müller Stahlwaren und Metallwarenfabrik company began in 1885. It registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce on March 9, 1920. Müller manufactured: flatware, knives and straight razors. The company registered "ROMÜSO" in 1922. In 1935, Müller received its RZM M7/32 license when it was located on Mangenberger Straße 37. By 1938, the company changed its name to include their son "Robert Müller & Sohn" and moved to Merscheider Straße 315. In 1939, the company was owned by Robert and widow Bertha Müller. During the Third Reich era, HJ knives and SA/NSKK daggers were made for the NSDAP. The company dissolved on August 18, 1971.
