A Model 1933 Schutzstaffel Dienstdolch by Rich Abr Herder of Solingen. The blade on this one looks wonderful! The acid etched “Meine Ehre Heißt Treue” motto and “Rich Abr Herder Solingen” maker mark are both crisp and beautifully executed! They provide a wonderful contrast to the bright blade! The full crossgrain is stunning and easily visible as you shine it in the light. The blade is nicely seated up against the hilt and the and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates NM. It shows minor runner marks, surface scratches and the slightest age spots. The steel based black anodized scabbard looks excellent! It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 10% of its original factory lacquer! The nickel-silver scabbard fittings look great with only a few bruises. All four scabbard screws remain intact. The ball has a wee bruise. The nickel-silver crossguards look excellent as well. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamp “I” (Munich). The black died hardwood grip is in great condition. There is a scratch to the lower left-hand side. The fits are perfect. The solid nickel-silver eagle is wonderfully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SS roundel retains 75%+ of its enamel and has a perfect fit! The best one we have on our site right now! I always love getting my own stuff back: Killer Herder SS.
