The Otto Linder, Stahlwaren Großhandlung, company was founded on May 1, 1919. Linder concentrated on the manufacturing and sale of flatware and household knives. O. Linder registered in Solingen August 2, 1929. During the Third Reich, early era SA daggers were manufactured. Fisher estimates that 1,000 were made. The company moved around: Junkerstrasse 47 in 1939, Mozartstrasse 8 in 1942, and Dingshauserstrasse 36 in 1960. Otto Linder dissolved on November 29, 1968.
