The Thomas Wielpüz, Besteckfabrik, company was founded in 1880. Wielpüz specialized in heavy-duty scissors, shears, table knives, cutlery and household knives. In the 1932 Deutsches Reichs-Adressbuch, Wielpi&uulm;z is listed at Erferstrasse 32. Come the Third Reich era, early SA daggers were made-Fisher estimates 1,000. By 1937, Wielpüz primarily concentrated on the manufacturing and sale of cutlery. On January 14, 1939, Wielpüz received its RZM M7/109 code. Adolf and Robert Wielpüz were listed as the owners that year. It is likely the company ceased trading after the war.
