Come 1918, Haastert & Bull registered their hare (hase) holding a knife trademark. The company was located in Solingen-Wald on Wiedenkamper Strasse 15. A 1920 advertisement in Deutsches Reichs-Adressbuch für Industrie lists their products as: fruit knives, pocket knives, silverware and cutlery. The 1922 Solingen und sein Industriebezirk advertisement lists their specialties as: fruit knives, nutcrackers, sugar tongs (Zuckerzangen), tea strainers (Teesiebloffel), cold-meat forks (Aufschnittgabeln), butter- and cheese knives, poultry scissors, children's cutlery, pocket knives, and cake slicers. Richard Haastert was listed as a sole owner in 1920. During the Third Reich, Haastert & Bull, manufactured a few early era SA/NSKK daggers (Fisher estimates 3000). In 1935, they did not receive an RZM code. In 1939, the company was located on Wiedenkamper Strasse 1. Haastert & Ball ceased trading in June 1963.
